Bought a box of J.Co Pop today! Yummy! I'm actually not a fan of donuts but the first time when I tried J.Co Donut, it's like "Love at the first bite!" Haha. So yeah, that's how I ended up loving donuts now. But only J.Co Donuts though. Hee...

Yup, and the new website is..... HERE!!!!
Hehehe... Nothing there yet, though. =p As I said in my previous post, I know nothing about this website thingy, so yeah. It'll take some time la, okie. Heh.
For the time being, I have installed the Wordpress component there. In a way it'll be easier to manage also la. Yeah, not much hassle la. At least I don't have to start from scratch, right. When I have more time maybe I will spend more effort into it. :D

Own Domain Name & Hosting
I've been thinking about getting my own domain name & hosting a.k.a. to have My Own Website... Hmm... Honestly speaking, my knowledge on building my own personal website or weblog is really close to zero. Hehe.
So yeah, I bumped into this one website to check on the availability of certain domain names. Of course, I started with my own name first - dymphna. As unique as my name sound, there is already a dymphna.com. Uhm well, not really a functional website in existence though. It's just one of those people that pre-bought a domain name to be sold later. Yeah, if I want that domain name so badly, I would have to go through 'them' who currently own it. -_-" And of course, the risk is there. It's a question of how much do I trust these people. So I decided to forget about it.
Then, there's a dymphna.net. Also owned by somebody who put random stuffs there. Well, good for her.
And then, there's a dymphna.org which was marked as "Available". Was thinking and contemplating whether I should get that... But then, when I actually typed in that address on my web browser, I got a message that says, "This IP has been banned"... Whatever that was supposed to mean... Well, anyway, I thought that this was a bit too dodgy. I didn't bother to look at other domains with the my name in it after that.
So, I decided to check on "other" option. And yep, it's available! After much thinking and contemplating, thinking and contemplating... more thinking and contemplating (*bleh* not that much actually)... I finally decided to purchase that domain name.
And then, came the second question - How about the hosting? I can't just have a domain name standing alone there without a web hosting, right. Haha. So yeah, another thinking and contemplating, thinking and contemplating... And yeah, so finally I decided to get one...
Everything is pending now though... And because of that, I won't disclose the chosen domain name first until everything has been finalized and that site is ready to run! Haha.

I tend to make decision in the spur of moment like this, actually. Yes, I am very random. I can just browse through the 'net and decide hey, I should get this now... Bad habit -_-" And to imagine that I know nothing about setting up my own website :O... Hmm, oh well I'll worry about that later lah, I guess. Heh.
And yes, I know NOTHING about hosting as well. When I was about to choose the package for hosting, there was a table of comparison, and I looked and them and goes "huh?" o_O Yeah, what's MySQL Database... IMAP Supported... C-Panel... Fantastico De Luxe... FrontPage Extensions... FTP User Accounts, etc. The solution? Google! Haha.

Stumbled Upon an Ol' Blog
Today I logged in to my Friendster account and stumbled upon an ol' blog there. I haven't been there for such a long time... I actually like the header there - "Rainbow" ~ "It takes both rain & sunshine to make a rainbow"... And yes, as I was browsing through the old blog posts there, I realized that I used to write about a lot of random stuffs there. Uhm, yeah, some were quite personal. (What was I thinking writing all that down there???)
I almost deleted that blog... But... Nope, it's kinda special, I guess. Yeah, that was the ol' me. One can easily make a comparison of the postings there and here. xp I guess I try not to be too personal here. =p *bleh*
Or another way to put it, I don't have "life" to write about now. Haha. Yeah, actually that was how that ol' blog of mine died. Nothing to write what.
Heh... Gonna change that.
